Paint designed for application onto damp walls

Durbocem is specifically designed to go onto damp walls (interior or exterior). It adheres perfectly to damp substrates. The coating works by allowing moisture to flow through the surface of the substrate and through the coating, thus preventing the coating from blistering or delaminating.
Durbocem paint is applied similar to standard emulsions but is far more functional – it tackles the problems of flaking, damp and stained walls, renovating them completely. It can be applied onto damp plaster or masonry. Typical applications include damp walls in cellars, garages, external garden walls, etc.
Product design:
Durbocem is a solvent based plasticized resin acrylic paint. It is suitable for interior and exterior use and will adhere very well on damp walls contrary to other paints. Contrary to standard interior or exterior emulsions Durbocem builds a strong bond with the damp substrate. Durbocem contains cement and is therefore fully suitable for application onto damp substrates.
• The coverage rate for  Durbocem is approximately 1.5 – 3 m² per litre depending upon the porosity of the substrate.
• It must be noted that Durbocem is not resistant to high pressure of groundwater and cannot be used as a waterproofing product nor does it stop saltpetre efflorescence.
• Durbocem is available in 5 litres and 10 litre paint tins.
