If you are looking for a long-term solution to a slippery surface, we have the answer, SlipGrip products are high performance safety stair treads, landing covers and flat sheets, made from high quality GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic).
A tough, long life, line marking product, which combines resin and fibres making it an exceptionally hard-wearing product. Simply lay down the lines and secure in place, through pre drilled holes.
Standard lengths of 3000mm, they have predrilled holes and chamfered sides are incorporated to reduce the possibility of causing a trip hazard.
Enhances the safety of climbing a ladder enlarging the surface area for foot contact and friction with its integral grit surface. They are designed to for over traditional round steel ladder rungs.
The carbon and silicone grit applied to the top surface not only provide and extremely slip resistant surface but also withstands the rigours of busy environment. Due to the fact that the nosing is a different colour to the rest of the tread, the step edge is easily identified.
The recommended coating for new buildings is Murfill. This is a standard exterior coating that has built-in elasticity. The benefit of the elasticity is that the coating can stretch and move with any settling or structural movement that occurs in the building over the first number of years. This prevents the coating for cracking or flaking over areas where micro-cracking will occur. The product also gives 100% waterproofing.
Product characteristics:
Decorative satin-matt finish
Guaranteed waterproofing
Water vapour permeable (allows the wall to breathe)
Excellent resistance to ageing
Protects reinforced concrete against carbonation
100% waterproofing guaranteed
Allows for occurrence of micro-cracking (400% elasticity)
UV and chemical resistant
Prolongs the lifetime of the building

A paint paddle is a vitally important tool when it comes to mixing two-pack paints. A two pack paint is any paint that comes in two parts: a base and an activator. Unlike single pack paints, your two-pack paint dries by a chemical reaction between the base and the hardener. It is important that every part of the base mixes with some activator. If you have some base that isn’t in contact with any activator then the paint may not dry or harden, nor will it give the desired gloss.
This is where your paint paddle / paint stirrer comes in. Attach the paint paddle to the end of a standard household drill. Stir the base at a slow speed. Slowly begin to add your hardener (activator). Stir the base and hardener at a slow speed for approximately 4 minutes (this time varies depending on what type of paint you are mixing). Do not mix the products too fast as they will heat up and they will cure too quickly. For mixing ratios and other application and preparation details please see the data sheet of the specific product that you are using.
Fire proofing treatments are an exact science. The fire protection requirement for load bearing steel is generally one-hour minimum. This means that load bearing beams and columns (or any other steel sections that are pivotal in supporting the building) can withstand fire for one hour before collapsing. It is no coincidence that the twin towers in New York collapsed exactly 56 minutes after being struck. Because of the exact nature of these specifications the information that you give us is crucial.
The information that we require in order to give you an exact fire protection schedule is the following:
Name of the steel section: i.e. a beam / column / flat / circular hollow section / equal angle etc.
The Section size of each piece of steel involved: i.e. 80 x 80 x 15.
For example, a common size for universal columns is 203 x 203 x 54
The Length of that piece of steel: e.g. 3.5meters
The no. of pieces of steel that are this size and length: e.g. 15
Exposure: i.e. how many sides of the steel are exposed. Generally this is all four sides but sometimes there it may be only 3 sides exposed (i.e. when one side of the steel is blocked inside the cavity of the wall, etc.)
Here is an example of what a customer would send to us:
